Umhlali is situated only a short distance inland from the small coastal holiday village of Salt Rock in the greater Ballito area on the Dolphin Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Blythedale Beach

This is still a relatively unspoilt area on the coast not far from Stanger that adjoins a conservancy which includes the mouth of the Umvoti River and a long stretch of beach which is popular with fishermen.
